Well yesterday saw the start of week 3 of Humira and a rest week on the injection front, my next injection is next Thursday. Then it will be every two weeks from there on in.
I was tempted to stick up some pictures this week too but have refrained so far, I’m still thinking on that one at the moment. I might just publish photos on each injection day only. I’ll still take them weekly just for my own records though.
Clearance rates have been impressive so far. I’m stunned at how quickly it’s going, it is indeed something to behold. Why oh why didn’t they allow me to have this treatment sooner. All the years of needless suffering and self loathing were completely avoidable. I’m glad to hear that under the coalition government NICE will be coming under scrutiny. A review is most certainly required, it’s taken me 5 years of suffering the pain of severe psoriasis, 5 years of experimenting with other drugs, 5 years of dodgy side effects and illness, 5 years of torment, all because of NICE and their policies.
It’s still early days, only 15 days since the first injection, and I already feel like a different person. It’s truly remarkable.
Oh sod it, here are some pictures 🙂
