3 weeks in

I know this is a little on the late side as tomorrow will be 4 weeks in, but thought I’d better repost this here.

Well it’s now 21 days since I started on this much needed weight loss and fitness lark and I’ve made better progress than I could ever have imagined. To say that I am surprised would be a bit of an understatement.

I’ve dropped exactly 6.3kg in the past 21 days, so a remarkable 1 stone in 3 weeks!!! Something I thought that I’d never achieve and I’m over the moon about it!!!

Running wise my next session is week 2 session 3 of my 9 week training plan, so really early days with that still. It’s going to start getting a lot harder from week 3, but I’m confident I can complete it as scheduled.

I’m currently covering a paltry 2.15 miles in 30 minutes, but it’s not about the distance at the moment, it’s all about completing the intervals as per the plan and in return building the stamina up which will allow me to run longer and further.

Looking forward to tomorrow now as I will then be exactly 4 weeks in to it, another milestone as such. I’ve just completed week 3’s training schedule too, which was this 3 times throughout the week.

Week 3 – 28 Minute Training session
00:00-5:00: Warmup walk
5:00-6:30: Run
6:30-8:00: Walk
8:00-11:00: Run
11:00-14:00: Walk
14:00-15:30: Run
15:30-17:00: Walk
17:00-20:00: Run
20:00-23:00: Walk
23:00-28:00: Cooldown Walk

Game well and truly on.
