First proper 10k race tomorrow that isn’t a fun run. I’m both nervous and excited about it. I probably should have got a couple of 5k’s under my belt first really. This isn’t my first ever event, I did the GSR in 2009, and have done a couple of Sport Relief runs too, but this seems a lot more official if you know what I mean. Silly eh.
My target is to complete the 10k course in circa 55 minutes, but anything under an hour I’ll be happy with.
Fingers crossed I won’t come last, though it won’t be the end of the world if I do. I’ve come a long way over the past few months which is a big achievement in itself, if you’d said in March that I would be doing this run in June I’d have laughed at you 🙂
